Mow Cop Methodist Church

Mow Cop is a place which is significant in the local history of Primitive Methodism. The first Camp meetings were held on Mow Cop Ridge and the Church was later built as a memorial to these meetings and a place of worship. Worship takes place each Sunday at 10.30 am. For a variety of reasons the current trustees have made the difficult decision to close the church but the church family are keen to find ways to continue to worship and share together.
